Con el pecho desconsolado
Y la mirada perdida
Partió el caudillo hacia lejanas tierras
que hicieron la cuna del cimarrón
y allí junto a un bárbaro enano
y su inmaculada doncella de luz
en grandioso banquete festejo
la sagrada unión que arranca lagrimas
al dios vigoroso de todos los hombres.
Y esa misma noche
cuando baño la luna
la perspectiva de nubes
cantaron los invitados
con las copas en alto
el vigésimo octavo aniversario
de su resurrección.
Siguió camino enseguida rumbo
a las alturas ignotas
donde hubiera de enfrentarse
a la sombra de su propio porvenir.
y encontrar nuevamente
una certeza que le hiciera de bastión.
recorrió en soledad
las cumbres lejanas en busca
de una roca legendaria
hija de las montañas
que dividen el mundo
cuando los escribas antiguos
descifraron el misterio
supieron que el hombre
que llevara en su piel
al lucero cortejando
la luna en el poniente
arrancaría de su propio pecho
el músculo palpitante
para hundirlo
en las profundidades
del hielo
hasta que fuera uno
con la roca de sucio cristal
cuyo aliento es capaz
de guiar al mas perdido
en la aciaga oscuridad
y de someter la confusión
en nombre de lo inexorable.
Fresco gris y blanca euforia
aire ambiguo sopla raudo al despuntar
algún tiempo entre el olvido y la memoria
cruje rudo el lago al despertar
canta el bosque sones suaves casi mudos
de melancólica insistencia
y en su recuerdo mas violento
llora una tristeza en la que ya nadie cree
y a la que ya nadie reza
sueña despierto murallas de imposibles
que se niegan.
árboles robustos y un cielo total
de ventanas diminutas
salpicadas por la brutal oscuridad
hubo un tiempo de cenicientas promesas
y mentiras consentidas
hubo un olvido elogioso del dolor
y como no, crónico, casi latente, del amor.
hubo también finales alegóricos
y categóricas memorias
gravadas en la roca virgen
Entre lenguas de fuego inconstante
vi. piezas de ajedrez rebelarse
y secundar la partida pronta
de estos pies cansados
que así como Gilgamesh
llego a los brazos de la tierra
que arrullan al sol
para que descanse su recorrida .
cruzaron el valle
anhelando el refugio maternal del río
cuando su bramido blanco corteja el silencio
la noche se esconde detrás de picos y montes
mas allá de la cuenca negra que todo lo gobierna
